About the Cafe

My name is Henry Takasan & I own the Golden Lotus Cafe.

The Golden Lotus Cafe is a unique cafe specializing in cowboy cuisine with a world flavour. I opened the Golden Lotus Cafe in 1995. It is now Hat Creek’s only restaurant.

I serve up great cowboy cuisine everyday.

I am an experienced chef and was originally trained as a sushi chef before going to for a work local outfitter preparing meals for hungry cowboys on the Northern Range.

I love to serve local cuisine with world flavour.
